Good Investment!
To tell you the truth, I didn’t want to spend as much money as this had cost. After reviewing other brands and getting feedback from my electrician, I decided to “bite the bullet”. Am I glad that I did. It was worth the extra money to purchase something that I would be happy with, would last and would be a good investment for the home.
The Panasonic fan/heat/light/night-light combo truly lives up to its name. It is whisper warm and quiet. My old unit did not have the night light feature. The night light is good when you have to make the middle of the night “trip” to the bathroom and don’t want to disturb anyone by putting on the regular light. It is enough to see in the bathroom without disrupting anyone’s sleep. Also, I saved over $100 by purchasing it on Amazon as opposed to a supply store that carried it in my area. So all in all I am very pleased.

This fan is another quiet model from Panasonc which is set at at a level of 1.3 sonnes (the higher the sonnes, the louder the noise). The light consists of 2 18 watt fluorescent lights, and there is also a 4 watt night light. All bulbs are included with the fan.
Installion is not that difficult as on all panasonic bathroom fans, as instructions which are very user friendly are included. The blower in the fan sucks in air from both sides which means that more air is dispersed in one go.

excellent quality – ultra quiet
i’m really happy that this ended up being a good investment. i was searching for a quality fan to use in a small bathroom/shower area. i was concerned that due to the small space, the fan might end up reverberating, being loud – as some other reviews mentioned with panasonic in similar sizes. that was not the case. it was an easy install… it’s powerful yet purrs very quietly and the light is nice and bright, yet soft and well distributed. i did not hook up the nightlight. excellent shipping took about 72 hours from time of order to actual delivery.

The light consists of a night light with a bulb of 4 watts, and two compact lights of 18 watts each. All the lights come as part of the package. Installing this bathroom fan light is a simple process for someone who can do basic DIY, but for someone more qualified the Panasonic FV-08VSL1 can be installed far more quickly.
